Priorities

 Used-to-be lovers Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have similar priorities in their lives: love, sex, and money. I am pretty sure when they were still together, they have with them all of the above. But now, what they only have is the last one which most of the people do not have – money. That`s only my opinion. If ever rumors are true that the two of them are already going out with other fellas before or just after they called it quits, well, I`m maybe wrong.

 

It is not actually for me to delve into these crazy things called love, sex, and money because I haven`t been really into it (dotzwatuno … he-he ).

 

Most of the people often interchange these three, oftentimes playing it all on their hands only to find out later that people just can`t simply have it all. Princess Diana and Kris Aquino were unhappy of their lives because they tried hard to have everything. Michael Jordan end up as a lousy baseball player because he want to have a piece of the fame enjoyed by the players of the most popular game in the Americas. Kobe Bryant is now entangled in a rap charges maybe because he got so pissed up with the girl who does not like him.

 

When a person says, “I love you,” it may mean only the desire of acquiring or possessing a person or a thing.  When we miss somebody, it does not necessarily mean we love the person, we are just afraid of losing her. Love, in this way, becomes nothing but an obsessive wanting and longing. Hence, jealousy arises. Love is free and finds joy in making another person happy though that person is not around or in another`s arm.

 

The ultimate definition of love is that it is the true unconditional giving of self. It finds joy within even though the circumstances are hurting. It is filled with sacrifices because it is only through these can love be truly savored. Love is the breathe of life. It is the fragrance we smell each day thus keeping our selves burning with passion to move ahead and be in harmony with others. Ingersoll said, “…without love, we are least than beast but with it, earth is heaven and we are gods.”

 

The sexual desire of the body is oftentimes mistaken as a feeling called love. That is why some partners broke up after they have satisfied their bodily longing. Sex is an expression of love and not a prerequisite to it. Sterility of a person when it comes to sex is not an indication that a person is unlovable. To the elderly, sex for them can be done mentally if all the rest are already failing. Actually, great sex can be done on a table because you get a face-to-face and eye-to-eye contact with your partner. They mean, obviously, a great conversation. Of course, one thing may lead to another (shhhh).

 

Today, with the prevalence of sexual promiscuity though still socially untolerable, psychologists say casual sex is but a temporary release of body heat. Sex done out of labor of love is the most satisfying.

 

If only Ben and Jlo are steps away from me I would grab their wallets. Heck, money is only their third priority when most of the people I met almost die for it. I would say they`re luckier because they can now enjoy that luxury of not getting so much entrenched in finding big bucks. Maybe because they already have enough of it.Yeah, I agree with them money can buy everything but it cannot buy things which cannot be bought like true love and great sex. And these things that cannot be bought are the ones that are so very essential.

 

Well, when there is love, everything follows.
